We are already past that point. I believe 9999993 was issued to an LNG carrier that's on order, and new IMO numbers now use the series starting with 1 that had already been in use for yachts:

Thanks Kyle, I did not realise that. Seems strange now to have luxury yacht IMO numbers on tugs and other merchant stuff.

Cheers, Lappino, That's a fair size. I like the safety messages on the front of the accommodation block too. - although should it be No Naked Light instead of Non Naked Light?
