She's a great looking ship isn't she :-)
Getting to be a regular visitor to the UK - she was on a courtesy visit to Newcastle Upon Tyne in March 2007. Not open to the public on that visit though :-x

She is the fourth De Zeven Provinciën class frigate of the Royal Netherlands Navy.

Launched: 19 April 2003
Displacement: 6,050 tons

Propulsion: 2× Wartsila16 V26 13,600 hp diesel engines 2× Rolls Royce Spey SM 1A 52,300 hp gas turbines
Speed: 30 knots
Complement: 174 (202 incl. command staff)
Armament: 5× Mk41 vertical launch system with 8 cells each
Standard armament: 32 ESSM (4 per cell) and 32 SM-2 IIIA surface-to-air missiles
Another 8 cell MK41 VLS can be added
2× Goalkeeper CIWS guns
2× Quadruple Harpoon anti-ship missile launcher
1× Oto Melara 127 mm/54 dual-purpose gun
2× Oerlikon Contraves 20mm machine guns

I am with you now, I was looking for the name of the ship not Dutch frigate, I do know him actually but didn't see him on the day, had I done so I would have given him the name, but he has the info. now thanks to you.
