The new ship CORVO leaving Vianayard, Portugal on 21 June 2007 to start sea trials.
CORVO main particulars: IMO nº 9381275; length overall 119.8 m; Breadth extreme 20.0 m; Gross Tonnage: 7.067 GT; Deadweight 9.000 dwt; Displacement full load 12.772 tons; cargo capacity: 620 TEUs (410 TEUs 14 tons), Cranes: 2 TTL KL 45 tons at 29 m; Main engine: 1 CAT-MAK engine, 6.000 kw / 500 rpm. Service speed: 16 knots. The CORVO will be registered under the Portuguese flag at Ponta Delgada, St. Michaels, Azores. She was purpose built to operate between Lisbon, Leixões and the Azores ports (Ponta Delgada, Praia da Vitória, Horta, Velas and São Roque do Pico) a round voyage taking about 12 days.
