Note: Both were capsized outside Hanko on December 27th 1990. Vessels were raised, repaired and renamed in 1991.

Very good shot of this combination, one can really see the difference when comparing this EOS 400D shot with your old camera! :-)
Although you mentioned earlier today that she had sunk, only now I realize it was the FINN + BALTIC case in which the pilot and seven crew members lost their lives, a horrible tragedy! Now I understand even better why you wanted to photograph them! Their new ETS is tomorrow morning, I'm keeping my fingers crossed they wouldn't depart too early.

Besides the historical facts of this combination I´ve always liked these so called "Finnpusku" vessels, and have wanted to see them sometimes. The STEEL and a barge was also my last Lego ship I had built. ;-)
