Built 1966: Nippon Kokan KK, Shimizu, Japan, as ms Leuve Lloyd, Koninklijke Rotterdamse Lloyd (K.R.L.). BRT. 9.603 (and after placing a container deckbeam in 1981: BRT 10.804). LxBxH: 162,08 x 23,77 x 14.00. Engine: Stork, 2 tew,6 cyl. 17.000 pk. Speed: 21 m/h. 1966-1977 ms leuve Lloyd, K.R.L. (Koninklijke Rotterdamse Lloyd); 1971-1977 Koninklijke Nedlloyd ship; renamed in 1977: ms Nedlloyd Leuve, Nedlloyd Lines. 1991 sold to Antigua and renamed Leuve. Picture taken in Wellington harbour, New Zealand 1971. Sisterships Loire Lloyd (Nedlloyd Loire), Neder Linge (Nedlloyd Linge), Neder Lek (Nedlloyd Lek). This was one of the first ships where all engineers could sleep at night, because everything was automated and one engineer had the alarm duty at night, in case of emergency.

Made a trip arround the world with this ship in 1970 as a steward and parttime help in the engineroom (In my sparetime), the most beautifull ship I've been sailing on ever.
