This ship is now part of the Vasa museumfleet in Stockholm, but was once the cutting edge of the Swedish navy. It was part of the Spica class developed in the early 70s to perform hit and run attacks in the Swedish archipelago. The propulsion is somewhat special and significant for this class as the Spicas were powered by three jet turbine engines similar to the ones used in aircraft.
