Thanks alot, but here comes the embarrassing truth: It is winter, and I didn't get to shipspotting locations recently. and during summer I have also taken photos of tankers and bulkers, but not so much because of interests, but because they were still there - just so :-D
So, it is nice to see, although these ships are not my main-interest, that some folks like to see them and are interested. It's worth to upload not only what you are interested in, therefore. Thanks alot for pointing this out to me :-) - Cornelia

If it floats I will take a photo of it -- then see if I can sneak by Derek when I upload it!
Of course when one is landlocked then just about anything that floats becomes interesting! :-D

Hm.. I think then, although I do say that I "take photos of all", that this does mostly include ro-ro, containerships, cruiseships, ferries and then comes tankers, bulkers and such. I would like to see more ships of the MSC fleet, but going to the wrong places for this. Interesting and very diverse fleet and some really old rustbucket who do show some late-starter with the shipping interest like me, how ships looked, decades ago. :-D

There is a saying that "Great minds think alike" ! You, myself and Marie-Anne all seem to be in the same boat so to speak with MSC container vessels.

That is true, there seem to be quite some people out there who do like their fleet. The main thing to be said could be, you like them or you loathe them - these ones exist as well :-D I think, for the people who do this hobby for a long time, they are just rustbuckets who have not yet gone to India. But for ones who did just start recently, we can sometimes see their fleet a bit like a floating containership-museum  I know this does not sound nice, but I see it in an educational way here. Well, but soon they will get their mega-huge ships, and then they will also have something for the folks who like them new'n big !

If I had my way with things I would go wherever I can photograph MSC ships in quantity as well as other container ships, especially China Shipping and Evergreen. But I don't have that choice so I take what I can get! I have seen a grand total of 3 different MSC ships but have downloaded almost 3,000 from this site so can watch a slide show of them as well as other container ships and also containers themselves which I can sometimes see in the area I live in, albeit on trucks or railroad trains.
