This photo is of the hulls which later became the STA brigs STAVROS S NIARCHOS ex NEPTUN PRINCESS (in the foreground) and PRINCE WILLIAM ex NEPTUN BARONESS. It was taken by me on July 8, 1996 at the Neptun Werft facilities at Rostock on the eastern shore of the Warnow river. See comments at:

Because most posters of photos of both vessels seem to belief that they were built by Appledore Shipbuilders in the UK I think it is of interest to know how they looked before rebuilding.
