German excursion paddle steamer Freya, bt. 1905, in the Kiel Canal on 29.5.2005.
She also does regular cruise in the Kiel area as our ship Stadt Kiel and has a long history.
First she served as ferry on the route Flushing -Breskens under the name of Westerschelde. In 1933 she was sold and renamed De Zwaan. In 1988 she was transferd to an excursion vessel and renamed Nederlander and in 1999 their actual owners aquired the ship.
