This photo was taken from the Union Company roro vessel Marama enroute Melbourne-Auckland on the 22.12.73. We arrived Akl at 7am 26.12.73.
Wilsons Promontory in the background in the southernmost point of mainland Australia.
It is a fabulous area for tramping, I can personnally vouch for it.
