King/Clan Line's 1958 Belfast built KING HENRY is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago today, on 29th May 1970, while on charter to Eastern Africa National Shipping Line.

Later: 1972 AFRICAN LION - 1981 KLADITIS EMMANUEL

November 1982: renamed VERBIER for a last loaded voyage from Mersin to Karachi and then to breakers at nearby Gadani Beach where she was beached on 14th April 1983
