Hi Navarino, could you give us more information on your "disaster" cruise on the ITALIS? I am sure you a great story to tell.

Hi rd77.with 2 funnels and also when she was a single funnel liner, she always looked great, she was one of those ships which are photogenic, photographing them from any angle and they will always look great. regards.

Thanks for putting up this one Emmanuel. There are very few pictures around of her sailing as ITALIS, so this is very interesting, even if she didn't look her best at that point in time.

Hi Shaun, everytime a ship sinks or is involved in some kind of maritime tragedy is a depressing affair especially when it involves a beautiful vessel such as the ITALIS (ex-AMERICA)

A depressing end for a beautiful American ocean liner. Greetings from the United Kingdom!!!!

Sorry my friends I must amend my comment, I should have said "top quality value " I was meaning it to the photo as such and not the ship.

Thanks my friends, Though the picture isn't of top value having been taken by a kid with a small camera, the ship herself is very interesting and had a colourful history, sadly ended her days wrecked.
