Description:

12/12/2022, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Islas Canarias, Spain.

Abandoned in the port since October 2020. It appears the Russian owners ran out of money during repairs.

In May 2021, the 15 Russian and Ukrainian crew members were repatriated to their respective homes, and received four months of wages owed to them by the shipowner.

The Port Authorities initiated legal action through the local court, and the vessel was arrested and detained.
The ship was due to be sold by auction on 12/12/2022, with a guide price of €358,000.00. I do not have an update regarding that.

A Cameroon flagged, with Russian principals, refrigerated cargo carrier.
For many years has been engaged in the carriage of frozen fish.

Launched on 04/11/1983 & completed during January 1984, by Fukuoka Zosen, Fukuoka, Japan (1105)

Hi Gerolf, the official answer is 'No'.
There are some areas of the port which are freely accessible, and some which are obviously not.
In reality, to be anywhere on the port, you need a valid work reason.
Enter the port at your own risk, don't get in the way of any workers, and take photos very discretely.
The Port Police will ask you to leave if you are seen, but that is all.

Thanks, I was in november at Las Palmas and only took photos of the roads and the footpath near the highway and from the top of the cathedral, but some were very distand shots, e.g. this vessel. Your foto is much better. We went on the cruise earlier and then I could enter the area ot the cruise vessels, but not more.
